New and returning parents will be able to explore the many different manpower positions while swimmers learn about how a meet is run. | 06/21/08 | Saturday | Car Wash | 8:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. All Swimmers 11 and older (due to the tricky nature of the car wash equipment). Parent help is welcome. Younger swimmers can help with donations and signs. Sign up now to work. Put forms in the "Hastings" mailbox by Thursday, June 14th. Many thanks to the Wright family for making their facility available for the event! Tell friends and neighbors. Money raised supports the team! The car wash is located near True Value and Goodyear. Bring towels to dry cars with. | ||

- 7:00 a.m. Positive Check-In is between 6:00 - 7:00 a.m. Swimmers must
check in before 7:00 a.m. or they will be scratched! Meet
starts at 8:15 a.m. Trails is responsible for timing lane 4. Deadline for sign-up is Monday, June 30th. A fee of $8/swimmer is required. Turn in forms and fees (cash or checks made out to 'Trails of Algonquin Swim Team') in an envelope in the 'Susmarski' mailbox. Click here for a copy of the form to turn in. | 07/19/08 | Saturday | Conference "A" Championship | Swimmers must swim in at least 3 NCISC dual meets to qualify for the
conference meet. Each family attending is asked to bring a breakfast item to share - buffet style for swimmers and coaches. Swimmers must check in with coaches who must turn in scratches by 7:30 a.m. Pool opens @ 6:30 am, Warm-ups 6:45 - 8:15am, Coaches meeting @ 7:35 am, Officials meeting @ 7:50 am, Timers meeting @ 8:10 am, Meet starts @ 8:30 am. Click the DeKalb link for directions. USA Time Trials will be offered to any current USA registered swimmers following the meet. (Note: most Trails swimmers are not USA registered.) Cost is $7 per event. Please see your coach if interested. Trails warm-up assignments: Lanes 1-5, 7:15 - 7:35 a.m. Trails timing assignments: Lanes 1 - 3 timers, Lane 2 - 1 timer. Meet Packet (Word) Admission: Adults $2, Children 12 and under $1, Heat Sheets $6. |

Costs for Trails swimmers is $6.00 ea.* Adults and non-swimmers over the age of 10 is $15.00 ea. Non-swimmer children ages 3 - 10 is $12.00 ea. Sign-up forms will be put in everyone's mailbox. Reservations and money will be due Monday, July 14th in the HASTINGS mailbox. Checks should be made out to "Trails of Algonquin Swim Team". Let us know your comments about the season. Please fill out this survey (word format) and turn in at the Banquet or email to info@trailsswimteam.org . * Swimmers cost subsidized by our team fundraisers and is dependent upon our finances at the end of the season. |

event. Group rate: $10 per person. Children 3 and
under are $3. Sign-up forms will be put in everyone's mailbox. Checks should be made out to "Trails of Algonquin Swim Team" and put in a labeled envelope in the "Hastings" mailbox no later than Friday, July 18th. Important: to get the group rate, everyone must be at the South Entrance - Group Sales area no later than 9:45 a.m. Check in with Leisa Hastings. Late arrivals will have to pay the regular admissions price. |
