2010 Open Registration

The Algonquin Trails Swim Team 2010 Open Registration will be held on April 17^th and 19^th.

Please plan on attending one of the registration dates. Forms can be filled out in advance or picked up at registration. Please contact membership@trailsswimteam.org if you have questions about joining the team.

Open registration is an opportunity for new families and returning families who missed early registration to sign up for the team. Limited pool lanes for practice and limited meet entries mean there are a limited number of spots available for the various age groups. Registration will be taken on a first come basis. In an effort to be fair to everyone, no other priority will be given. Please Note: At this time, the Girls 13/14 age group is full and the Girls 9/10, Girls 11/12, & Girls 15+ age groups are almost full (<5 spaces remaining). Once an age group is closed, swimmers will be placed on a waitlist. Occasionally swimmers will drop out and we can take 1 or 2 swimmers from the waitlist.

UPDATE: After open registration, Girls 9/10, Girls 11/12, Girls 13/14 & Girls 15+ age groups are closed. Please contact membership@trailsswimteam.org to be added to the waitlist.

Location: Algonquin-LITH Fire Station 1 located on the corner of 62 and Pyott (1020 Algonquin Rd, Algonquin, IL)

Times: Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 9:00 am to Noon.

Monday, April 19, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Fees: $245 for the first swimmer in family ($195.00 swim fee and $50.00 merchant card fee)
$195 for the second swimmer
$185 for the third swimmer
$175 per swimmer for 4th or more
The $50 merchant card fee is a mandatory fundraiser for each family and is used to help keep our swim fees low. Each family will receive 10 cards which can be sold for $5 each. Therefore, each family has the opportunity to redeem this amount through the cards they sell. Merchant cards have discounts for various merchants in the area and can be used multiple times throughout the year by the card holder.

Apparel

Apparel orders will be done at open registration. Try on suits will be available during open registration. Team suits are not mandatory, but encouraged. We try to use the same style team suits for two years. This is our second year of the current style. If you have a good suit from last year that still fits, you may not need to purchase a new suit. If you need a new team suit, this is your opportunity to order them. We also have other items such as caps, T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. that will be available. Remember all suit/apparel order payments are required when apparel orders are placed at open registration.
